About the Editor

Prof. (Dr.) Amit Ludri is former Chairperson & Dean Faculty of Law Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra; presently working as Professor in the department of law having research and teaching Experience of 25 years, an eminent scholar in the field of Law. He has completed his LL.M. (Right to Information) and Ph.D. (Right to Privacy) in the year 2000 and 2004 respectively. He has contributed more than 40 Articles in reputed journals and presented papers as a Resource Persons/Speaker/Chief Guest in 80 conferences at International/National level.

Prof. Ludri Authored books on “Law and Practice of Expert Opinion in India” (2015); “Law of Personal Autonomy” (2012); “Law on Protection of Personal and Official Information in India, India (2010) and revised rebook, authored by G.S. Pande on Law of Evidence (2017). Apart from authored books he has also worked as Course-Coordinator/Post Course Leader, National Resource Centre (NRC-Law) Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, (2018-19). Prepared online Modules for Refresher Course “Law ‘Contemporary Issues and Perspectives”, and worked as Deputy Director, (in a one-year Project) (2007) “Mapping of Informal Justice System in Haryana State.” The project was financed by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Collaboration with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and Law Ministry, Government of India.

Prof. Ludri has been invited as member of Mauritius Examinations syndicate and Mauritius Education Syndicate (MES), Ministry of Education, Mauritius (2015); is recipient of National Law Day Award 2022 Dated 25th Nov. 2022 at Indian Law Institute, New Delhi Organized by International Council of Jurists; Awarded with Hindustan Gaurav Samman on dated 8th May, 2016; Awarded Hungarian Scholarship from International Relations Hungarian Scholarship Board to do research at CEU, Budapest (Hungary) (July 2012); Honoured by Hon’ble Governor of Haryana State on October 27, 2006, with Akhil Bhartiya Prakrar Samellan (National Level) Tadwdo, Gurgaon (India); Awarded University Scholarship (URS) from Kurukshetra University during Ph.D. (2000).
