About the author

Dr C.B. Gupta topped the M.Com. Examination of the University of Delhi in 1970. He earned his PhD in 1982 from the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He has been teaching B.Com. (Hons.) and M.Com. classes since the 1970s. He has also been visiting faculty in several management institutes for their PGDM Course in NCR. He has also taught CA, CS and ICMA classes as a visiting faculty. Dr Gupta has undertaken post-doctoral research projects. He has more than forty books and twenty-five research papers to his credit. He has presented papers at several national and international conferences. He is a member of the All India Management Association.

Ritu Gupta of Delhi, in 2004. She has obtained a Ph.D. degree in Commerce in 2019. She has also done DOEACC ‘O’ level from DOEACC Society, Government of India. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in business administration from PTU. In addition, she has presented research papers as a part of coursework at Kumaun University.

She has been associated with NCWEB, the University of Delhi, as visiting Lecturer since 2005. She has also been a part of the editorial team of the book ‘Business Statistics for Commerce’, under the e-Pathshala Post Graduation project of UGC under NMEICT by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Dr. Ritu Gupta contributed to the development of e-content. She was a content writer for ‘Principles of Business Finance and Accounting’ and ‘Project Appraisal and Impact Analysis’.
