About the Author

Sushma Arora is an Associate Professor of Commerce at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, where she has taught for more than four decades. An alumna of the same college, she graduated at the top of her B.Com class in 1975 and earned a university position on the Delhi University merit list. She went on to complete her M.Com and M.Phil (Finance) at the Delhi School of Economics, receiving the coveted National Merit Scholarship during her postgraduate study.

Professor Arora’s teaching and research span Business, Industrial and Cyber Laws, Cost Accounting, and Business Statistics. She is a prolific author with nine textbooks to her credit, including widely adopted titles such as Business & Industrial Laws and Cyber Crimes and Laws (Taxmann), which cater to B.Com (Hons.), B.Com, CA-Intermediate, MBA, and CS curricula across annual, semester, and CBCS frameworks. She has also developed numerous e-lessons for the National Mission on Education and the Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILLL) at the University of Delhi.

A regular participant in national and international conferences, Professor Arora is a life member of both the Institute of Commerce Association and the Institute of Accounting Association (Delhi NCR Chapter).
