P S Purandaradhasan obtained a Master of Commerce degree in Pachaiyappas college Chennai.

Author Mr P S Purandaradhasan has been doing research for the benefits of the weaving and farmer community since 2001. In 2015 received Chinnikrishnan Cavinkare Innovation award 2015, and in December 2015 received National award for best invention in India at IIT Delhi presented by Department of science and Technology (DST) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and received National award from National Innovation foundation on March 2019.  In addition to research work he is doing various social services.
