He is associated with various institutes of repute in the country ΓÇô Jawaharlal _ ‘ehru Institute of Banking and Finance [JNIBF. IDBI Bank) . Hyderabad, Talentsprint Education Services Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad and Stratadigm Education Services Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai – to name a few. Dr. Mukherjee has more than three decades of experience in banking and finance. He served State Bank of India for 25 years in various important positions followed by a seven year association with IDBI Bank as Senior Faculty. Dr. Mukherjee is a post-graduate in Physics, a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, and holds a Ph.D. in Management (Finance). Throughout his banking career, Dr. Mukherjee has dealt with appraisal, delivery, monitoring and recovery of bank credit in Corporate, Retail and International credit segments. His operational experience in bank lending includes his assignments as head of a number of large branches, commercial lending operations of a large circle of SBI and the management of credit portfolio of the circle. During the period 1998- 2004, he was a member of Faculty (Credit & IB discipline) at State Bank Staff College, Hyderabad. As a member of Faculty, Dr. Mukherjee was actively involved in formulation and implementation of the revised Credit Risk models for the Bank. He has also done meaningful research in the area of EMI formulations & Housing loan and has developed a Housing loan score card model for use by the bank. As a Faculty, Dr. Mukherjee has been addressing credit officers and decision makers in cred it from various commercial banks (SBI group, nationalized banks, Pvt. Sector banks in India and third world countries). and also institutions like EXIM Bank, SBICAP, ARCIL, and various SFCs. He is a visiting faculty for various Management Institutions including IPE, ASCI, ICFAI, COD, IMI (Kolkata), Symbiosis University (Pune) etc. He provides guidance to students pursuing their Ph.D (in the area of banking and finance) with various universities in India, and is an accredited guide for the ‘Project Work’ for the MBA students of IGNOU and other Management Education Institutions. Dr. Mukherjee is also a member of the Academic Council of the Aurora School of Business, Hyderabad. Besides the current project, Dr. Mukherjee has several other books to his credit. Some books authored by him are internal publications of SBSC, Hyderabad. His two other books titled ‘Credit Monitoring, Legal Aspects and Recovery of Bank Loan’ (second edition, 2013), and ‘Hands on Credit – Doing it Yourself’ (first edition, 2013) have been published by this publisher.
